Apollo Version 2 Hardware

These release notes detail the changes made in Version 2 of the Apollo and ApolloMAX terminal hardware versions.

How to identify the terminal version

On the rear of the Apollo and Apollo MAX terminal is a label that shows this. After the model there is a "Vx-y" where x & y are numbers. Ignore the second y digit, and check the first x digit. If this is a 2 then this terminal is Version 2 of the Apollo or ApolloMAX terminal.

Example: "V2-0" is a Version 2 terminal, "V1-2" is not.

No Operational Change

None of the changes above will change any aspect of terminal operation. Performance should improve, but functionality is identical across all hardware versions as functionality is controlled by terminal Software
