Terminal Types
Payter's Unattended terminals are available in a variety of different models. Our main website can outline the features and benefits of each type. In this page, we focus on the technical capabilities and limitations of each terminal type.
Apollo Family

The Apollo Family of terminals include the Apollo, the Apollo Polar, and the Apollo Max (not pictured).

Most solutions will require an Apollo terminal. It has the highest IP rating, accepts contactless and PIN-verified payments, and allows customizable screens and user input. Polar terminals should be used where additional capture methods such as Magstripe or Chip Insert are required.
The Apollo Max terminal is NOT suitable for outdoor use!
P6X

The P6X family of terminals are unable to process PIN verified payments. They are well suited to uses where lower amounts are typical, such as Vending (Snacks, Coffee), Forecourt Services (Vacuum/Air/Carwash), or Gaming (Change Machines, Rides).
