Integration Guidance & Support

Whilst one of the shortest pages of this portal, this part of the overall process is usually the longest. During Project Delivery, Integrators are developing their solution and occasionally contacting Payter to ask questions or to update on progress.

How Long Does it Take to Integrate?

This is a common question with a highly variable answer. It simply depends on too many factors for Payter to be definitive. We do know however that it takes less time when an Integration Consultation takes place.

Once development is complete, or is nearly complete, Payter or the Integrator should then ask for the following steps to be completed:

Mechanical Integration Questionnaire

A series of questions we ask with regard to how the terminal(s) are going to be fitted to the host machine, and any testing or end of line processes that will be used. Depending on how the terminal is sourced and used, this questionnaire can be very short. Payter recommend every integrator completes this however.

Implementation Checklist

Payter manage this document, which acts as a summary of the solution that the Integrator has completed. Payter validate the content of this with Integrators at the end of Project Delivery.

Protocol Validation

Sometimes known as a Final Acceptance Test, this is a series of tests with inputs and expected outputs that show that the developed solution utilizes all relevant API's, processes and features correctly; complies with payment industry standards; is scalable and efficient; and creates good customer outcomes. This is a mandatory step for all solutions
