Why would I use PSP?
Below is a comparison between PSP and our Cloud Payment Service. Both of these Protocols are designed for complex interaction, usually where the initial authorization value might differ from the final value, or where the price is otherwise variable.
Fixed price integrations may want to investigate our Autoscan & Pulse guide.
Many Vending Machines should also support MDB which both terminal families support natively. We can configure a terminal in this way upon request.
Feature | PSP | CPS |

†Under certain conditions it might be possible to also process credit/debit cards offline. Please contact us for more information.
*CPS can read the unique ID for an RFID card, but PSP is able to read and write to specific blocks within the MiFare structure. Commands however must be sent quickly as there is a very limited timeframe where the card remains in range.
PSP is best suited where speed of response is important, or where offline RFID approval is required, or where the hardware manufacturer wants to include a local controller as a bundled product offering.
