Enhancements​

  • Several Modem management enhancements:
    • The WWAN modem’s FPLMN list is now cleared after every reboot
    • Modem is now 4G/LTE only, disabling 2G and 3G connections
    • Implemented an enhanced recovery strategy for modem connections
    • Added settings for modem connection and recovery strategy
    • Added more information in modem metrics
  • Further enhancements to reduce data usage, particularly beneficial for 4G/LTE modem connections

4G/LTE only

2G and 3G connectivity is being removed across most mobile networks in Europe, North America and Oceania. Removing support for these ensures the terminal is not attempting to connect to this diminishing network. This results in faster connectivity, and clearer insight into location specific connection longevity.

Issues Resolved​

  • Grace period no longer gets reset for every connection message for offline state
  • Service Menu
    • Battery temperature reported correctly in service menu
    • Service timeout now disables NFC
  • Can now disable WIFI if SSID or password is empty

Apollo UI 2.0.0-283​

Enhancements​

A new UI templating tool has been released. This allows partners to customise their own screens and submit them to Payter for approval and use. You can find more information on that in our UI guide.

Issues Resolved​

  • UI Selection no longer reaches maximum property size
  • QR scanning interface consistency improved
  • button-label color is now correctly applied in all screens
  • Several Custom UI fixes
    • Ordering, Alignmment and Coloring of background elements fixed
    • Height limits removed
    • Default config now loaded on startup instead of relying on a timeout
    • Fixed overlapping fields in selection screen
    • Setting a button to transparent in the dialog screen is now possible again.

SCAP - PSP 3.1.0-72​

Enhancements​

  • Speed enhancements to authorization process have been implemented. We now return the Approval response as soon as possible during the authorization process.
  • Newly selected language added to DOL list
  • Control command added to PSP. This provides a mechanism to restart (power cycle) the terminal programmatically, if needed.

Host – Engine 2.0.0-254​

  • Skip commit added to Apollo, to match P6X functionality
