Overview

As detailed elsewhere in the UI section, there are several built-in screens that can be used by integrators. In addition to this, Payter themselves use these screens at key points during the transaction process.

It is possible therefore to amend the basic screens and rely partially or wholly on amended screens to achieve the look and feel desired.

Format of Each Guide​

In each of the following pages, we detail:

  • Current usage by Payter
  • The elements including their type and any defaults, that make up each screen
  • A visual guide to each element
  • A downloadable copy of the existing configuration as a starting point (if available)
  • Idle - a screen for when the terminal is inactive
  • Info - Mostly text, for imparting key information such as user instruction
  • Notification - A basic outcome notification that can show a Tick or Cross to indicate outcomes
  • Dialog - Information with up to two configurable buttons at the bottom
  • Selection - A wide variety of button layouts for menu's and product selection
  • Spinner - An animated spinner to indicate that a process is underway
  • Present Card - The screen Payter display when capturing cards
